Civil Service Board

A five-member board with 2-year terms. This board functions as an advisory board to the Town Council in matters relating to the conduct of the personnel administration of the Town. The board also monitors the development of policies, rules and regulations and coordinates their implementation with the Town Manager. They also serve, when requested, as a review board for permanent employees who have been involuntarily terminated, demoted or suspended with loss of compensation as well as settle grievances brought before them.
Meets as such time as the membership of the board determines.
