Fingerprinting
Fingerprint services are available on Thursdays between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm. The cost is $2.00 for Town of Indialantic residents, and $5.00 for non-residents. You will be required to bring your own fingerprint cards and provide positive identification.

Well-Being Program
This program has been implemented to enable the police department to check on the well being of citizens who live alone, are shut in, or are incapacitated in some way. Periodic contacts will be made by telephone or in person.

Operation Identification
The police department provides electric inscribers, window stickers and instructions for marking property for easy identification. The proper marking of personal property can deter theft and substantially increase the chances of recovery of stolen property. The department will be happy to assist those who are unable to mark property themselves.

House Checks
A house check service is available for residents who are going out of town and will be leaving their residence unattended. House checks will be conducted as often as manpower permits and we also encourage you to have a trustworthy neighbor or family member check your home on a regular basis. House Check forms are available at the police department.

Neighborhood Watch
Components of this program include neighborhood meetings, literature, and neighborhood watch signs. Home security inspections are also available so that you may identify features in your home or daily routine which might make you or your home an easy target for a criminal. The officer conducting the inspection will complete a check list and will provide you with suggestions and recommendations for increasing your safety and that of your belongings.

Bicycle Registration
Computer registration and identification stickers are available as well as literature on the law and safety measures. Registration will help law enforcement return your bicycle to its rightful owner in the event that it is stolen or lost.

Facility Tours
Tours of our facility and equipment are available to school or cub scout/girl scout groups. Literature is available in our lobby on a multitude of subjects, including juvenile services, victim services, alcohol and drug awareness, domestic violence, theft and burglary, and information for senior citizens.

Home Security Survey
The Indialantic police Department will conduct an on-site inspection of your home in an effort to identify potential features that might make you an easy target. An inspection list will be completed and you will be given advice on ways to reduce your exposure to criminal activity.
