MINUTES OF A SPECIAL ZONING AND PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD IN THE INDIALANTIC TOWN HALL ON OCTOBER 12, 2000

Present
	John MacNeill, Vice Chairman Michael McCabe, Member Michael Melhado, Member Rick Bertel, Member Randall Greer, Alternate Stan Krulikowski, Building Official Barbara Brownlie, Secretary

Absent:
	Thomas Kleving, Chairman Ed Washburn, Town Planner (excused)

1. CALL TO ORDER AT 5:30 PM

Vice Chairman MacNeill called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM.

2. REPORTS AND DISCUSSIONS

A. Review of Ordinance No. 00-05 for consistency with the Comprehensive Plan

Town Manager Chinault gave background on the ordinance and clarified several points for the Board.

A memo from Town Planner Ed Washburn advised that he had reviewed the Ordinance and found it consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Objective 1, Policy 1.1 of the Future Land Use Element.

Mr. McCabe moved to find Ordinance No. 00-05 consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Objective 1, Policy 1.1 of the Future Land Use Element. Mr. Melhado seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

B. Review of Ordinance No. 00-12 for consistency with the Comprehensive Plan

Mr. Chinault clarified the intent of the ordinance and how it would be enforced.

A memo from Town Planner Ed Washburn advised that he had reviewed the Ordinance and found it consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Objective 1, Policy 1.1 of the Future Land Use Element.

Mr. McCabe moved to find Ordinance No. 00-05 consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Objective 1, Policy 1.1 of the Future Land Use Element. Mr. Bertel seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

3. ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 PM.
