CALL TO ORDER AT 10:00 AM
Chairman Coburn
called the meeting to order at 10:00 am.
II. APPROVAL OF INVESTMENT POLICY PRESENTED BY AL GLOVER
Mr. Glover went over the 17
provisions required by Chapter 2000-264 Laws of Florida.
After discussion, Mr. Terkoski
moved to approve the Investment Policy Statement as of today subject to review
by Town Attorney, Paul Gougelman. Mr. Greehy seconded. Motion passed
unanimously.
III. APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE 01-01 RELATING TO POLICE/FIRE PENSION PLAN
Capt. Greehy moved to approve, as written, Ordinance 01-01. Mr. Bailey seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
(This ordinance also authorizes investing in foreign securities.)
IV. REQUEST FROM POLICE OFFICER CRAIG MAWN FOR REFUND OF MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS
Mr. Terkoski moved to approve
refund contributions as requested. Mr. Bailey seconded. Motion passed
unanimously.
Mr. Mawn’s contribution plus the
interest total $1,391.30.
V. ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Bailey moved to adjourn at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Terkoski seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
