      I.            CALL TO ORDER AT 10:00 AM

Vice Chairman, Ms. Schwanbeck called the meeting to order at 10:00

    II.            APPROVAL OF PRIOR MEETING MINUTES

A.     Minutes 01-10, September 11, 2001

        

         Mr. McLaughlin motioned to approve the minutes as written.  Ms. Mauter seconded.  Motion carried unanimously.  Ms. Kowalski would like it noted that Ms. Mauter should be mentioned as liaison to homeowners association in future minutes.

  III.            TREASURER’S REPORT- K. Kowalski

 

Ms. Kowalski clarified budget reports, 01-02 budget revisions are as follows: 

Recreation: CD player was purchased last year for $250.  Beautification: Riverside Park, roof covers for $3000 will be done with a FRDAP grant.

 

Mr. McLaughlin motioned to approve treasurers report, Ms. Thomson seconded, motion passed unanimously.

IV.            TOWN HALL REPORT – R. Cassedy

 

Ron reported that the Holiday decorations have been selected, and they should be arriving shortly after Thanksgiving.

 

Council rejected the construction of restroom facilities in Orlando Park.

 

Signs for Sunset Park and Orlando Park have been ordered.

 

 

  V.            BEAUTIFICATION

Mr. Chinault has met with the artist and the engineer.   The base monument has been put out to bid; the closing date is November 2, 2001.

The holiday tree lighting is scheduled for December 5.
