I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 8:05AM.

II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 21, 2006
The minutes of November 21, 2006 were approved.
III. REPORTS AND DISCUSSION OF THE FIFTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY EVENT AND PROJECTS
Carol Andren reported on meeting to plan the photo contest with Denise Bozeman, Jenifer Marx and Irene Quilleux. It will start January 12, 2007. Areas of responsibility were assigned: Ms. Andren posters and website, Ms. Bozeman PR and Ms. Marx judges. By January 3, 2007 posters will be placed throughout town and press releases will be emailed and faxed to Hometown News, Indialantic Wave and other media outlets. The Indialantic town webpage will announce the photo contest and offer an online contest entry form.
All photos must be submitted by deadline of February 23, 2007. Judges will select the winning photographs by February 26. Winners will be announced on Friday, March 9. The two winning pictures will be sent to the printer no later than March 13 and postcards will be delivered to the committee by March 23, 2007.
The following four individuals will be invited to act as judges: Denise Bozeman (Indialantic Heritage Committee), John McNeill (IHA), Mayor Robert Cochran, Jr. (Town of Indialantic), Petals florist (Commercial sector).
Transcription of completed interviews was discussed. Ms. Andren submitted a list of completed interviews with times. Committee members will transcribe interviews with Dian Milligan and Robert Marx. Ms. Andren moved that the remaining interviews (approximately 104 minutes total) be sent to Thuriam Media Services for transcription, subject to town approval. Mr. Miller seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. If it isn’t possible to transcribe all material in a timely manner the short Anniversary Video will focus on Indialantic’s early history.
The committee agreed to focus upcoming interviews, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2007, on individuals who will fill out the Town’s historical timeline. Interview subjects include the following individuals, who will be contacted by committee members:
Hasty Miller - Residential
Shagg Catri – 60s & 70s
Betty Preece – 70s & 80s Space
Denise Bozeman - Residential
Jean Allen- Residential
Josephine (Petty) residential/commercial
Jim Rathman – Space
Laura Eaton – Town Government
Brooke Deratany – young native
Rob & Shelley Johnson – new residents
Spence Guerin and Grady Stewart were mentioned as men who could discuss building and Indialantic as a residential town.
