I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 8:07AM.

II. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 19, 2006 MINUTES.
The minutes of November 21, 2006 were approved.
III. DISCUSSION
Chairman Bozeman welcomed guest, Laverne Bruffey.
Public Relations and Publicity. Posters announcing the photo contest and news releases have gone out. Chairman Bozeman will follow up with press releases for the March 31st event. The committee agreed that several real estate type signs reminding people of the event would be appropriate. Chairman Bozeman will check with Mr. Chinault about posting signs.
Post Card Contest Judges. The judges anticipated so far are John MacNeill, representing the Indialantic Homeowners Association, Denise Bozeman, representing the Heritage Committee, a member of the business community, and perhaps Mayor Robert L. Cochran, Jr.
Interactive Panel Discussion. Dian Milligan, Denise Bozeman, and Bill Miller will work up the theme, program and panel for the March 31st morning program at Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
Children's/Family Activities. There is no one to chair that activity so far. Denise will contact Jackie Potts-Henry to see if she is interested. Carol Andren will check with Lois Schissl to see if clown performers might be available.
T-shirts. The committee agreed to drop the idea of having t-shirts to sell because members are so busy with other event activities and projects.
Food & Beverages. Starbucks Coffee wants to do something for the event. They will be asked to provide coffee for the morning event. Laverne Bruffey will contact the Bank of America to see if they would provide a birthday cake for the afternoon event. We will confirm that the Indialantic Fire Rescue Volunteers will have food for sale.
Music. Carol Andren will re-confirm the performance of the Knot Whole Quartet and explore adding additional music to the schedule.
Narrative Trolley Tours. Jennifer Marx reported. A trolley would not be available. The cost of a tour bus would be $400 for 3 hours. The committee concurred to drop the tour idea.
Garden Club-by the Sea and Lily Park. The Club will decorate Lily Park to commemorate the Town's anniversary celebration.
South Brevard Historical Society. Carol Andren will check with the Society to confirm that they will participate and what their exhibit might be.
Other participants. Indialantic Fire Rescue will have a demonstrate equipment. The Indialantic Police Department will have a booth. Jenifer Marx will contact Jerry Loll to see if he would participate with his reptile collection.
Misc. Jenifer Marx and Denise Bozeman will check into decorating the park for the event.
IV. ORAL HISTORY INTERVIEWS & DVD
The Script. Video project producer, Loren Goldfarb, discussed work to be done. Committee members will help gathering images and material for the video, especially material up to and through the Kouwen-Hoven era.. Jenifer Marx will contact Dan Wagner to obtain the original cassette from the Mary Hayward interview. Loren asked for suggestions for a narrator. Mark Pence was suggested.
Title of DVD. Indialantic by-the-Sea: Portrait of a Community was suggested. Committee members concurred that is would be a good title.
V. ADJOURNMENT. The meeting adjourned at 9:17 AM.
