I. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Andren called the meeting to order.

II. MINUTES 03-02 MAY 7, 2003
Ms. Marx moved to approve the minutes. Ms. Bozeman seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
III. ORGANIZATION
1. Determine desired charge for Council adoption/consideration
Ms. Marx volunteered to summarize the current draft and present for consideration at the next meeting.
2. Discuss “Outlook for Work”
The Committee discussed the following:
· Contacting historical homeowners for additional material and their permission for the information to go on the web site.
· Newsletter articles for “town tales”.
· Archival displays and the preservation of old photos. Also, interviews, written or video, of those who can contribute town history information.
· Archival pieces for the display cabinet in council chambers.
· Further organization of the files.
· The eventual creation of a manual or book featuring native information –photos/documents. Possibly a DVD of town history.
· Budget for postage, archival materials, and interviews - $1,000.
· Development of programs for an annual historic event at town hall.
· Periodic programs, slide lectures.
