MINUTES OF A BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD IN THE INDIALANTIC TOWN HALL ON JULY 14, 2003

PRESENT:           Les Barlow

                   Orlando Brillante

                   Norman Greer

                   Christopher W. Chinault, Town Manager

                        Laura Eaton, Town Clerk

ABSENT:             Raymond DiZefalo, Chairman

                             Jack Kish

A.      CALL TO ORDER AT 11:30 AM

          The meeting was called to order at 11:30 am.  Mr. Brillante nominated Mr. Greer as Vice Chairman.  Mr. Barlow seconded.  Motion carried unanimously.

B. PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FY-04

            Town Manager Chinault reviewed the proposed budget for FY-04 noting that staff is proposing that the millage rate remain at the current rate of 5.0089.

         Mr. Barlow moved  to approve the proposed budget as presented. Mr. Brillante seconded.  Motion carried unanimously.

          The meeting adjourned at 12:05 pm.
