Personnel

• Volunteers Business meeting Chief and staff in attendance

• Town Staff Meeting (3)

• Chief attended meeting for hurricane preparedness for the town

• Air Packs (4) taken in for annual inspection

• Indialantic Fire Rescue hosted a meeting with Communications International

• Chief Macdonald attended Fire Chief’s operations committee

•  Meet with County on Mitigation strategy

• Attended class on Drug Labs in Melbourne with 3 firefighters from Indialantic

• Radio re-banding meeting in Melbourne

• Attended Florida Fire Chief’s conference in St. Petersburg

• 3 day class in Rockledge for Weapons of Mass Destruction CAMEO program

Operations

• The department responded to fifty-seven (57) incidents during the month of July, fourty-one (41) were for medical assistance.

• The Volunteers held their monthly business meeting.

•  Business Inspections in progress

• Class on Meth drug labs in Melbourne

• Weekly volunteer training programs held

• Inspected and cleaned 6 sets of fire protection clothing, most failed inspection.

Fire Prevention/Code Enforcement

• The department conducted ten (10) fire safety inspections.

• Revisited zero (0) sets of building plans and made necessary adjustments.

• Reviewed two (2) sets of building plans.

Training

• Training for the month of July  -       86  hours

• Volunteer work hours in station –  533 Hours

• Volunteer Fire School hours –          ?? 

• Volunteer administrative hours –         8 

• Volunteer training hours –                75.5
