Chief Barker attended monthly meeting of the Space Coast Fire Chiefs Association

Captain Greehy helped to man Titusville’s fire stations while they attended the funeral for one of their own

Chief Barker attended a meeting at the Brevard County EOC to discuss annual hurricane plans.

Captain Boyd finished paramedic school and is awaiting his test results

Captain Haggas attended a countywide meeting of fire inspectors

Chief Barker held the quarterly meeting of the towns safety committee

Chief Barker attended a meeting of the Brevard County EMS Advisory Council to seek ALS Transition funding

Operations

The department responded to fifty-five (55) incidents during the month of June thirty-five (35) were for medical assistance.

The volunteers held their monthly business meeting

Fire Prevention/Code Enforcement

The Department conducted fifty (50) fire safety inspections and two (2) re-inspections.

Reviewed one (1) set of building plans and conducted fifty (50) occupational license checks.

Training

Training for the month of April – 48 man-hours

Volunteer work hours in the station – 236 hours
