Chief Barker attended monthly meeting of the Space Coast Fire
Chiefs Association
Chief Barker submitted proposed budget
for fiscal year 2001-02.
Chief Barker submitted a grant to FEMA
for rescue and personal protective equipment.
Captain Greehy continues to ride the
rescue units in the City of Melbourne working to achieve his paramedic solo
status.
The department responded to forty (40)
incidents during the month of May thirty-five (35) were for medical assistance.
The volunteers held their monthly
business meeting.
The Department conducted ten (10) fire
safety inspections and zero (0) re-inspections.
Reviewed
one (1) set of building plans and conducted ten (10) occupational license
checks.
