Personnel
· Met with community business leaders
· Attended EMS Advisory Committee meeting
· Indialantic Fire Rescue hosted a meeting with Communications International (re-banding)
· Chief Macdonald attended Fire Chief’s operations committee
· Chief Macdonald attended Space Coast Fire Chief’s meeting (re-banding)
· Held Fire Department staff meeting
Operations
· The department responded to forty five (45) incidents during the month of April, twenty four (24) were for medical assistance.
· The Volunteers held their monthly business meeting.
· Repair to Engine 57 (broken lifter) under warranty
· Good News: One citizen is home from the hospital after our crew worked a full cardiac arrest in April. Great job for C-Shift.
Fire Prevention/Code Enforcement
· The department conducted two (2) fire safety inspections.
· Revisited zero (0) sets of building plans and made necessary adjustments.
· Reviewed zero (0) sets of building plans.
Training
· Training for the month of April - 52 hours
· Volunteer work hours in station – 531
· Volunteer Fire School hours – 211
· Volunteer administrative hours – 25
· Volunteer training hours – 76
