Continuation of the Fire Fighter One training for volunteers from Indialantic and Melbourne Beach. Class taught by Chief Macdonald Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Chief Macdonald attended Fire Operations meeting
Three staff members attended class on confined space rescues in Cape Canaveral
Chief Macdonald attended State EMS meeting EMSTARS on new report requirements in Titusville.
4 department members attended graduation of Fire School at BCCC
Chief Macdonald attended post-mortem on rescue call in Melbourne
Chief Macdonald attended 911 program at Florida Power and Light
Chief Macdonald and Chuck Plimpton attended conference on volunteer firefighters retention, rewards and recruitment as well as program on grants and funding
Operations
The department responded to thirty-eight (38) incidents during the month of February, twenty-five (25) were for medical assistance.
The Volunteers held their monthly business meeting.

Fire Prevention/Code Enforcement
The department conducted twenty six (26) fire safety inspections.
Revisited zero (2) sets of building plans and made necessary adjustments.

4 Indialantic Volunteer Firefighters are attending 8 hours weekly for Firefighter One class and completed a 40 hour class for First Responder.
