Personnel

• Volunteers Business meeting staff in attendance

• Town Staff Meeting (5)

• Continuation of the Fire Fighter One training for volunteers from Indialantic and Melbourne Beach. Class taught by Chief Macdonald Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

• Chief Macdonald attended Fire Operational meeting

• Meeting held at Indialantic with Communications International and surrounding fire departments

Operations

• The department responded to thirty-six (36) incidents during the month of January, twenty-seven (27) were for medical assistance.

• The Volunteers held their monthly business meeting. 

• Business Inspections completed, twenty-four (24)

• Weekly volunteer training programs held

• Hydrant testing begun and should progress through March

Fire Prevention/Code Enforcement

• The department conducted twenty four (24) fire safety inspections.

• Revisited zero (0) sets of building plans and made necessary adjustments.

• Reviewed zero (0) set of building plans.

• Hydro tested 2^nd floor at Indialantic One

Training

• Training for the month of January-111  hours

• Volunteer work hours in station – 385.5  Hours

• Volunteer Fire School hours – 200

• Volunteer administrative hours –10

• Volunteer training hours –  171

• Total volunteer hours – 766.5

• 4 Indialantic Volunteer Firefighters are attending 8 hours weekly for Firefighter One class and completed a 40 hour class for First Responder.
