Personnel

·        Chief Macdonald attended class in Ocala for Codes and Standards

·        Chief Macdonald attended conflict resolution meeting Palm Bay and Brevard County

·        Chief Macdonald attended EMS advisory meeting

·        Chief Macdonald attended Space Coast Fire Chief’s meeting

·        Chief Macdonald attended Brevard County Fire Inspectors meeting

·        Chief Macdonald attended OAIRE class (train the trainer)

·        Staff participated in required drivers training Indialantic (4 paid staff)

Operations

·        The department responded to forty (40) incidents during the month of January, twenty one (21) were for medical assistance.

·        The Volunteers held their monthly business meeting.

Fire Prevention/Code Enforcement

·        The department conducted four (4) fire safety inspections.

·        Revisited two (2) sets of building plans and made necessary adjustments.

·        Reviewed one (1) set of building plans.

Training

      ·        Training for the month of January – 96 hours

      ·        Volunteer work hours in station – 535.75

      ·        Volunteer Fire School hours – 108

      ·        Volunteer administrative hours – 94.75

      ·        Volunteer training hours – 75.5

      ·        Total volunteer hours – 706
