RESOLUTION 08-01

 

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PERSONNEL AUTHORIZED TO SIGN CHECKS FOR THE DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS DEPOSITED BY THE TOWN OF INDIALANTIC IN BANK OF AMERICA IN INDIALANTIC

 

WHEREAS, the Town Manager and Town Clerk are required to disburse Town funds under the supervision of the Town Council and in accordance with the Town Code and Charter, and

 

WHEREAS, accounts are maintained at Bank of America in Indialantic in the form of the Town's General Fund, Pension Trust Funds, Enterprise Fund, Payroll Account, Special Investigative Trust Fund, General Employees Pension Fund, Enterprise Investments, etc., and

 

WHEREAS, there is also a requirement for officials of the Town to enter safe deposit boxes maintained from time to time in the aforementioned banks,

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWN OF INDIALANTIC, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1.  That withdrawal of funds from accounts and demand deposits, endorsements of checks, Treasury Bills, Certificates of Deposit and other negotiable financial instruments deposited in or held by the above listed bank and access to any safe deposit boxes in said bank, be authorized as follows:

 

(a)   Upon the signature of either the Town Manager, CHRISTOPHER W. CHINAULT, or the Town Clerk, LAURA EATON, and

 

(b) Upon the countersignature of either MAYOR ROBERT L. COCHRAN, JR. or COUNCIL MEMBERS VINCENT BENEVENTE,  DAVID BERKMAN, LORI A. HALBERT or LOREN GOLDFARB.

 

This Resolution is to become effective November 20, 2007.
