Enjoy balmy ocean breezes, sailing, surfing, swimming, fishing, walk to the beach.....walk to the "lagoon", experience friendly neighborhoods, "stimulating" politics,  interesting people...........

Sounds like a great place to live!  Sounds like a chamber of commerce ad!   Sounds like Indialantic, the town one former mayor called a "premier beach community."  Sounds like OUR TOWN.

50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

November of 2002 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the incorporation of OUR TOWN.  To commorate this milestone the Indialantic Town Council appointed a steering committee to  gather ideas, develop a celebration plan and to implement that plan.  This committee has been  at work since January planning a celebration you won't want to miss. [See "Minutes"]

We thank everyone who shared their ideas and suggestions. There were so many good ones for us to consider.  We've been working with the Town administration and will be working with all of you who would like to help with this event.

Plans so far.......

We'll begin the year by promoting Indialantic history, the arts and our neighborhoods and will continue this theme throughout the year.  We plan to publish a new town  guide which will include a walking tour of the town.

When we get to November, an exciting  family oriented celebration is planned for Saturday, November 16th.  The day will begin   with a 5K run/walk and will be followed by activities at the Indian River Lagoon, Town Hall and The Beach.  We'll top off the evening with a "fifties" sock hop!
